Lenore Jean Daniels

Dr. Lenore Jean Daniels, a retired college lecturer, has a doctorate in Modern American Literature with a specialty in Cultural Theory (race, gender, class). Her published articles and essays has appeared in The Ocean Perspective, Chicago Alliance for Neighborhood Safety Newsletter, The Platteville Journal, The City Capitol Hues, Woodstock International, Socialism and Democracy, Common Dreams, Counterpunch, The Black Commentator, The Canadian Women’s Studies, The Griot, and The Americana.She was also a member of Chicago’s Operation Breadbasket’s Youth Division, beginning in 1969—and has never looked back! Organizing events over the decades, including several introducing students to social justice activism, she is now focused on writing to educate and challenge structural injustice.
