Maritza L. Félix

Maritza L. Félix is an award-winning freelance journalist, producer, and writer in Arizona. She is the founder of Conecta Arizona, a Spanish language news service that connects people largely in Arizona and Sonora through WhatsApp and social media. She is a co-producer and co-host of Comadres al Aire. Maritza is a senior fellow in the John S. Knight Community Impact Fellowship at Stanford, as well as the Education Writers Association, Feet in 2 Worlds, the International Women's Media Foundation’s “Adelante,” and the Listening Post Collective. She is also part of the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism's Executive Program in News Innovation and Leadership in Journalism at City University of New York.
