Norma Iris Lafé

Boricua Freedom Writer Norma Iris Lafé (pen name) shares the personal vignettes of a DiaspoRican (Nuyorican returnee) in her troubled homeland Puerto Rico. A Writer’s Well Retreat Literary Competition winner, guest contributor for Latino Rebels, National Institute for Latino Policy, VIDA Women in Literary Arts, Mujeres/Latinx Talk, Latina Lista News, Somos Primos, "The Rebeldes Anthology: Bolder” and the Border-lines Journal; the former public affairs writer KCBS News/Talk Radio (SF) and Bronx Science alumna, holds a BA, Black and Puerto Rican Studies, Hunter College (NYC). In Puerto Rico, since arriving from the SF/Bay Area Latino immigrant mecca in 1999, has served in community development capacities for federal, state, and municipal island governments. Contact:
