South Seas Cinema Program at Hollywood's Egyptian Theatre
Authors Sven Kirsten, Ed Rampell & Luis Reyes Present South Seas Cinema Program
Ed Rampell and co-author Luis Reyes will sign copies of their new book “The Hawaii Movie and Television Book” and Tiki guru Sven Kirsten will sign his new book, “Tiki Pop”, starting at 3:00 p.m., July 27. At 4:00 p.m. Sven will make a “Don the Beachcomber & The Origins of the American Tiki Bar” illustrated presentation.
At 5:30 p.m. there will be a screening of the 1958 movie “Enchanted Island.”
Both Sven and Rampell will introduce “Enchanted Island”, which is based on Herman Melville’s first novel, “Typee.” These events and more take place on the afternoon of Sunday, July 27, at the Egyptian Theatre at 6712 Hollywood Blvd., Hollywood, CA 90028.
